Persistent Effects
I ran into this issue before my last gig—I was tweaking a piano sound, adjusting effects and the expression pedal, but suddenly decided to swap in a different piano sound. I flipped through the handy carousel of keys and selected a different piano. That’s when all the effects settings disappeared. D’oh!
1.5.4 fixes this. You still lose effects settings if you navigate away from a patch, but if you stay put on a patch you should be able to audition all sorts of different pianos or other keyboard sounds while maintaining your meticulously crafted effects settings.
Oh … and 1.5.3 added an optional once-a-day tracker (you can always turn it off) that lets me see where in the world people are downloading and using the 7/11 software (7/11 is my shorthand for This Seven Goes to Eleven).
